OVERVIEW
This website is operated by Elderflowerflorist. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Elderflowerflorist. We offer this website, including all information, products and services to you, the “User”, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
TERMS
By visiting our site and/or paying a booking fee towards your wedding or event, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use our Service.
CHANGES TO WEBSITE
We are permitted to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we also have no obligation to update any information on our site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to our site.
WEDDING AND EVENT POLICY
Booking fee
To secure your wedding date a non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the total floral quote is required. This fee covers all administrative work undertaken in preparation for your wedding. An invoice for the booking fee will be issued once the quote has been accepted, payment confirms your booking and secures your date. This structure allows us to dedicate the necessary time and attention to create a beautiful, personalized floral experience for your wedding.
Important notes regarding the booking fee:
The booking fee in non-refundable, including in the event of cancellations.
This fee is charged as a separate item on your quote and will be deducted from your final invoice as it will have already been paid at the time of booking.
Payment of the booking fee is required to confirm your wedding date, your date is not considered secured until the fee has been received.
Any work completed beyond the booking fee (e.g., additional consultations or extra services) will be billed separately.
Elopement Package
The Elopement Package includes x1 bridal bouquet, x1 buttonhole and booking fee. Full payment of $379 is required to secure your date. This package is non-refundable. Any changes to the date or additional items requested may incur extra charges. Delivery or collection details will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Cancellations & Refunds
The client must advise us of any changes to the event date and location, we will do our best to accommodate new dates or location changes, however we cannot guarantee our availability.
Elderflowerflorist requires 30 days' notice for cancellations. Cancellation occurring within 30 days of the event date will be charged at 50% of the total invoice.
In the unlikely event Elderflowerflorist is unable to carry through with the work, you will receive a FULL refund. The chances of this happening are very slim as we have a team of amazing freelance florists that will step in to complete work with Rachels full guidance.
Hire & Breakage Fees
When hiring vases or plinths this cost will be included in your quote. Upon collection anything lost, stolen or damaged will be charged at full price to replace the item.
Delivery, Pick up & Set up
If your wedding florals require us to come to the venue for set up i.e. arch flowers, table displays etc. you will be charged a delivery fee and set up fee; this fee will include us coming back to the venue the next day to pack down.
A pick-up option is available from our studio in Tawa, Wellington.
Changes to quotes
Changes can be made between accepting the quote until 30 days prior to your wedding date, please note this may change the price. Once our order is placed with the wholesaler, we cannot guarantee change.
Final Invoice
The final invoice is due 30 days prior to your wedding date. If your booking is made within that 30-day window, full payment is required at the time of the booking.
Payment
Payment may be made via cash or directly deposited into our nominated account. Details of the account will be attached at the bottom of your invoice or by request.
Flowers & Foliage
All flowers and foliage are subject to seasonal quality and availability. Due to the natural cycles of seasons we cant guarantee availability in specific flowers but we will do our best to match color palette and styles. If you have requested a certain flower that we are unable to source, you will be contacted to talk about alternatives.
Mockups
We are happy to provide mockups at clients' cost. We can make a mockup of any design. If we are unable to use exact flowers, substitutes will be used. Mockups will be made to the same standard as the piece created on your wedding, these will be charged at full price as quoted.
Photography
You agree to images of, or part of, your event being used for our purposes, including advertising, display on website and social media. We reserve the right to take photos of any flowers and styling used in your event. Please allow us permission to seek these images from your photographer.
Consultations
We offer two face-to-face consultation. First one before booking with us to discuss your floral vision, get ideas for quote and to see if we are the right fit for your wedding. Once booked, Our second consultation will be closer to your wedding date, to discuss extra details if we haven’t so already via email or from our first consultation.
Any other face-to-face meetings outside of this will be charged at an hourly rate of $85. I’m always just an email or phone call away if there’s anything else I can help with in the process
